01Information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us, for example when you fill in our “Book a visit” form or email us:

• your name;
• your email address and/or phone number;
• your city;
• details about your project (type of work, timing, description);
• photos of the space, if you decide to send them by email;
• how you heard about us;
• whether you agree to receive our emails.

If you accept cookies, we also collect information about how you use our website (see “Cookies, analytics and advertising” below). Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working properly.

02How we use your information

We use your information only to:

• reply to your request and answer your questions;
• schedule a home visit;
• prepare a quote and, if you hire us, plan and carry out your project;
• keep business records required by law (for example, for tax purposes);
• understand how visitors use our website and measure our advertising, if you accept cookies;
• send you news, renovation tips and offers by email, as described below.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

03Cookies, analytics and advertising

With your permission, our website uses cookies and similar technologies from:

• Google Analytics, to understand how many people visit our website, which pages they view and how they found us;
• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), to measure our ads and show our ads to people who visited our website.

These tools only run if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you click “Decline”, they are not loaded. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of our home page, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Google and Meta handle this information under their own privacy policies.

04Marketing emails

We send news, renovation tips and offers by email only to people who have agreed to receive them (for example, by ticking the box on our form), or where Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) allows it, such as after you ask us for a quote or hire us.

Every email we send identifies Tetrix Construction Group Ltd., includes our contact information and has an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we will stop sending you marketing emails within 10 business days. Unsubscribing does not affect messages about a project you have with us.

05Consent

By sending us your information through our form or by email, you consent to its use for the purposes described in this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide a quote or complete a project.

06Who we share it with

We share your information only when needed, and only with:

• Service providers who help us run our website and business, such as Formspree (which delivers our online form to our inbox), our website hosting provider, our email and email marketing providers, and, if you accept cookies, Google and Meta. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
• Trusted subcontractors or suppliers working on your project, and only the details they need (for example, your address and the scope of work).
• Authorities, when we are required to do so by law.

07Storage outside Canada

Some of our service providers, including Formspree, Google and Meta, store or process information outside Canada, mainly in the United States. While stored there, your information may be accessible to authorities under the laws of that country.

08How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. If you do not become a client, we delete your request when it is no longer needed. Records of completed projects are kept for as long as required for tax, warranty and legal purposes.

09How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized access. Access is limited to the people at Tetrix who need it to serve you. However, no method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure.

10Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information, unless we must keep it by law;
• stop using your information.

Send your request to info@tetrixconstruction.ca. We will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

11Children

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

12Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page, with the date it was last updated.
